Shipping question?

Post by colonial »

I've never sold a knife on ebay before because I've always heard there are different state to state laws for shipping knives. I know there are plenty of people on here that ship knives all the time. Do you know of any rules/laws to follow? Have you ever had any issues?

No real sweat so long as you do not mail a switchblade. If you mail a fixed blade that is not in a sheath, I wrap the blade in posterboard.
You might want to refer to Bernard Levines site as he has knife laws posted there. I do not believe there is any law that restricts mailing of folders, other than autos.
