Just got the Boker today. The Dorwal I've had a week or so.
I think the Boker spent a little time in Emmit's fix-it shop. But I got it cheap to carry and use, so I don't mind. ::smirk::

Dog, love that Boker. That could pass it's self off as an English Jack. It looks very much like the Schatt & Morgan Premier Series English Jack. That's a beauty bud.

no photos...dang, sorry.
a lady called...selling off her ex husbands( happy hunting grounds) stuff...new hubbie wants the room in the garage...
so she calls..."i found that box of knives"...so i leave smoke trails to her front door...

five "buck" knives made in pakistian...
well that's a waste...
then the big old timer comes out of the box...a 125 OT big ol thing...single blade, liner lock...shrinking scales, drilled rear bolster...heavy on stain from being closed in a cigar box for 40 years...
tang is Schrade-Walden

a CASE ..ss. a single blade lock back...2.5 inches long...metal scales. cute.

also a MKLEIN, chicago, made in usa...comes out...3 1/4 easy open, rope knife...the scales look like brown bakelite???
sweet little knife...
a TL 29...imperial, Ireland, stainless...almost mint...big old fat black plastic/rubber scales...the other box is six steak knives..unfinished...with new scales...need mounting.
so how much????
five a box she says. ::facepalm:: i gave her twenty. and i still feel like a bandit.

You did good gringo.
I know guys that would try to get her down to $3 just to keep in practice.
Besides you are doing her a favor by hauling off her Pakistani garbage!

Nice job and nice pickups. ::tu::

Didn't take much to clean it up
Question is: Who made it? .... Schrade?
The swedge on the pen blade runs all the way to the tang!

The DE paperweight showed up on Friday..... pretty good timing ::nod::

Went to the mail box and what do I see, a priority box Philco sent just for me!
The contents inside had me grinning' like a joker, and with joy and glee I opened my Tree Brand Boker!
It's rained and stormed so much lately it's had me blue, but the sun came out when I opened up that Beer Barrel Canoe.....this has made me happy so you see, and it will you too if you buy from Wildwood Cutlery....

Thanks Phil!

This Schrade USA "The Kentucky Rifle" arrived today, purchased on ebay. I have learned this is the original version (1971) designed by A.G. Russell and NOT the copy that is being put out by today's Schrade-China. The seller said the knife belonged to his late father and had to sell due to the economy. It is in mint condition and I'm proud.

My first VOOS USA . It says in "Goins" that it is from 1919 to 1981. It was marketed by New Haven Hardware Specialty Company. It has good walk and talk(Not a Robeson) and blades appear to have never been sharpened. Looks minty , except for a lovely patina.
