Hi all,

Here are some of the last several weeks acquisitions, 1st image is mostly Schrades with all but one 899 and an Imperial Prov. being mint, 2nd image all MIB Craftsman knives made by Schrade. There is a 3rd image of newly acquired Case knives in the "Current Collective Poison" thread. Kudos to CCW for the nice display box I am now using for photographs!

All in all I would say it has been a very productive several weeks for me! ::groove::

The past few weeks have offered up to me some deals on Queen built Robesons that I could not pass up. With the help of a couple fellow knife colletors, and a little sniping on Ebay I've managed to acquire quite a few recently........

jmh58 & paulsvintage,

Thanks guys.......Queen does a excellent job on the Robeson SFO's. While most aren't quite authentic to the originals they are still well built pieces none the less. Of the Queen-built runs the Robesons are some of my favorites.

I just filled in the gap in my Miracle Whip Anniversary Schrades with a 1978 Miracle Whip 45th Anniversary / Kraft 75th Anniversary. I now have 1958 - 1988 and continue to look for more.

Where in the world did you find that in purple (violet?). I have an affinity for the English Jacks and have yet to add that particular model to the accumulation, though it is on the want list.

BTW, those Queen made Robeson Hawbaker rats are keeping company with the top ten on my favorites list. I only have one but keep them in mind when searching for future additions.

just in case & On Edge,

Thanks guys! And I appreciate the compliments on my pic taken but trust me, it's the camera making them look in anyway good. I'm working on getting my shots better but I haven't figured everything out on this camera yet. It's new so I am still working on the settings for different light.

jerryd6818,

I got that S&M English Jack from a knife collector friend of mine who had it in his collection. Got that other S&M and all four of them Robeson Muskrats from him too. Anyway, in bright natural sunlight the bone on that English Jack does have a Violet hue to it but it is more apparent in my pics than in real life. The bone is actually a rather dark blue color, almost looks like Navy Blue. Queen calls it Deep Blue Bone. In any other light it's fairly dark.

As to the Improved Muskrats, I am actually not that much of a fan of them, but I do like Robesons. Normally I would not of got these but he offered me such a deal on them I could not pass them up. Since getting them though I have developed a appreciation for the pattern.
