derlrin trapper

Hi all.... Here is 1 for you ebay # 280660579155
I have1 from him and think it is all ok. Same knife,
same material. I think of him as a good seller, and
have bought many knives from him. But it seems that
many have thought that the derlrin in the trapper started
in 1973, I think this one needs thought, stamps correct,
bolsters not mucked up. Some 1 needs to step up to
the plate, and say yes or no.
Here it is in front of you. All input would be appreciated!
Hope some one can make the ebay # easy to axcess!

There is no rule that delrin on the 54 pattern started in 1973. I have owned several 6254 SSP 8 dot 1972 in delrin. That one looks fine and would be pretty rare in delrin.

Caddyman1973 has an image of a 1970 delrin trapper posted on page 85 of Mail Call http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... start=1260 very much like your auction at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3D1&_rdc=1. Also the AAPK case reference on handle materials shows delrin being introduced by Case in '67.

Hi all....
Yes it does Old Goat! The one on the mail call is not as clean
as the one offered on ebay. It is a good price, I would buy it
but already have 1 from the same seller!
I just wanted to confirm that my Knife was legit, and find out the dates
of the use of delrin on the 54 pattern.
