Caleb that's a beauty. I don't think I could carry something that nice for fear of scratching it or dropping it or
losing it.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Wow maybe I should put it back.
Naaa, I'll stick with it.
It's just sat in the box for a few years now, because it has special meaning to me it has no price value to me. I carry it and remember the ones the blessed me with it, if I get rid of it, it will be to a little kid who's proud that he has a knife his granddad carried. I'm hopin' to get a few stories with it first though.

Time for me to be a man and come clean. When not in the office
I carry and use this knife daily. Look past the superglue and orange peel reminants. I picked it up at a gun show over a year ago, played with the assisted opening til the spring broke. But it holds a heck of an edge, even after using it as a phillips screwdriver. Oh well, it suits my outdoor needs. 4" blade, 440 stainless, probably lead paint.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I carry and use every knife I have from time to time but this is the one I carry most of all.
It's the only folder I ever made. I made 3 or 4 fixed blades and sold them.
I quickly got bored of making them and found repairing and restoring vintage and antique knives is where I wanted to be. I find it more challenging.
Sandvik 12c27 stainless steel matte finish lock back.
Ram horn scales with the bark removed.
Stainless steel pins.
Inlayed with a gold cross that had belonged to my Mother.
Sort of a barlow with a drop point blade.
I made this knife years ago and use it most of the time.
It has only been sharpened once when I made it and it is still razor sharp.

Carrying these two today.

I can't explain it, but there's something about old equal end multiblades that really appeals to me.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Just posted this over in the Case section, but the two dot 35 1/2 on the right is seeing carry along with my GEC Scout and Mink Skinner (and my red bone Case 6347).
The 35 1/2 on the left is new and unsharpened, as is the 31 1/2 on the bottom, which I just got today. Both of these are one dot knives. Got them all fairly recently.
The big jack on the bottom is about mint--after I took the picture I hit the bolsters with some Flitz and then Ren waxed the whole knife and now it shines like a new penny! I really should have done this before I took the picture!
It's tempting to keep the 31 1/2 and the 35 1/2 one dotters as a new pair from the same year, but I LOVE that big jack--I think it's gonna go in the rotation!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thanks Gino. I wish I had done the Flitz and Ren wax before the photo. It looks brand new! I'm about 99% sure I'm gonna carry it though--I'm pretty sure it's Delrin and won't be super collectable.
I don't know if you've ever messed with one of the Case big jacks, but the springs on that 31 1/2 are downright scary! Keep your fingers outta that rascal!
