Remington 75th Anniversary Knife

I have a few Remington knives that were made by Camillus that came in green boxes but I am not sure if Camillus or Schrade made this knife. Maybe someone here knows. The main blade is stamped "R106" on one side and both blades have the circled "Remington UMC" stamp. The scales are very thick stag and it is by far the nicest Remington in my collection.

I think Camillus most likely made, rather than Schrade.
Is there something that makes you think Schrade made it as opposed to Camillus?

I don’t know what year the knife was made so I did a quick search.
I found that Remington started making knives in the early 1920s.
1920 + 75= 1995, so I would postulate the knife was made about 1994 –1997, roughly.
I believe Camillus was making most of the Remington knives in that time frame.

(Remington Arms Company started in 1816, so unless the knife was made in 1891, it doesn’t commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Remington Arms).
I think it was most likely made by Camillus or perhaps even a third company, rather than Schrade.

Thanks Dale for your replies. I should have stated that the knife was issued to commemorate the 75th. Anniversary of Remington Knives and not Remington firearms. I also thought Camillus was the probable maker but wasn't sure.

I have the exact knife and camilulus did make it.
