Help with MArley Pocet Knife

Hi All I found this knife after my Grand Uncle died a few years ago, I put it away and found it again lately and was wonder what its story was.






It has a reg number on it which I think is REG CES574060 and it says Sheffield England on the cutting blade

Thats all I know, I hope someone can help. Also why is there a blob of weld on the back?

Looks like it was made after the 1940`s.

The registration (Patent) number is probably for the bottle opener design.

If you research this number you can find more information about who made the design and possibly the maker of the knife and an exact time frame.

I don`t know why it has a spot of weld on it, an accident or someone was playing around with a welder

Looks like it was just a mass produced souvenir. I'll try to find out what Marley was.

Most likely they sold some kind of beverage and this was a giveaway knife, which gave them free advertising
