knifes value?

knifes value?
Would anyone know the best place to find the value of a knife ? It is a straight blade, the blade length is 5'' and it has a pearl handle 4''. It has 13108 solingen germany stamped on the blade.

Without a photo it is tough for anyone to help you. Being there is no NAME on the blade it is somewhat generic. You can purchase a great number of books on the subject and learn more. If you can post pic or provide more detail possibly we can direct you more. Typically fixed blades do garner as much as pocket knives due to the additional time and money it takes to construct them. But if it is indeed pearl and old, "although from the sounds of it, it is not" then it may have more value. JUST MY THOUGHTS!!!!
