Old Multi-Blade Folding Knives

Let`s see your American, European or Foreign Multi-blade folding knives.

Here is one I have, it is a stag handle sportsman`s knife. It even comes in it`s original leather purse.

It is almost 4" closed. Very well made knife

Great idea for a thread, and a fine knife to lead it off, M.B. I only have one that meets the criteria, and that is only if you consider the file to be a blade. This Morley is a classic example of central European knifemaking. Like the Gebr. Muller, it exudes old world craftsmanship. The number of hand steps that must have been taken to make this detailed and well-fitted old knife are something that we don't see in factory, or even most custom, knives today. W.H. Morley and Sons were imported by A. Kastor of Camillus fame from 1913 to 1927. They were made in Germany and Bohemia, which was part of the Austrian Empire until the end of World War I, and afterward was the independent state of Czechoslovakia. This knife shows that even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then, as I picked it up off ebay for a song without even really knowing what it was.

I am still researching the company. I believe they started in business in 1904.

Located in Remscheid Germany, they made knives and scissors.

If you are referring to the one in the 1st picture(it is actually jigged bone)there is a front view of a fox's head and it says Solingen on the back of the tang.
The stag scaled horseman's knife is marked Dickinson E(crown)M Sheffield.
The 8 bladed knife is somewhat of a mystery.It has what appear to be British military marks repeated over and over on all the blades;the scales are machine engraved in a repeating zig-zag pattern and while there is no spring resistance to any of the blades,where the tang meets the backspring each blade is cut at a different angle and there is little to no gap between them when the blades are opened.
I got the knife on e-Bay awhile ago very cheap and have no clue as to it's origin.I thought it might be Indian or some other British colony and possibly be military but haven't found any info on it as yet.

I like the old Horseman patterns guys

This is a nice old Sheffield multi-tool to keep things ticking along. It is a somewhat unusual pattern in that the corkscrew has a thick tang that rides on both springs

I haven't gotten out much lately but picked this up from an antiques dealer that sets them aside for me when he comes across them. A few small nicks and chips but in pretty good shape and still has its tooth pick in the handle. IXL Wostenholm
