1947 Korean Dagger?

Post by Forensic Jim »

A friend of mine sent me some cell phone pictures of what he says is a dagger with "Korea 1947" etched on it. He wants to know if there is any value to it. The pictures quality is poor and almost impossible to make out.

I've seen something similar to that with a cast aluminum handle and etching;I think it was Mexican or Japanese.

Johnnie that's what I was thinking. Just looks like a cheapo knife to me. I sent the owner a message last night that it would have more sentimental value since it was from his mothers estate.
