HELLO FOLKS
THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO SEE AN OLD CLASSIC. I NEED SOME HELP WITH NARROWING DOWN THE YEAR. THE FIRST PATENT DATE IS 1909, NEXT IS 1910 AND LAST IS 1916, THE LAST IS I THINK THE YEAR GEO. SCHRADE PATENTED HIS FLYLOCK MECHANISM. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY YEARS THE FIRST DATE COULD BE CARRIED AS VALID. I BELIEVE 14, IF SO THIS KNIFE COULD BE NO NEWER THAN 1923. COULD BE AS OLD AS 1916. THE CELL, IS PERFECT THE FRONT OF BLADE HAS A SMALL SCUFF ON UPPER EDGE OF TANG. HAVING SCREWED UP A LOT OF KNIVES ON BUFFER IM GOING TO LEAVE AS IS.
ANY ADVICE AS TO STORAGE OR CARE WILL BE APPRECIATED. FEEL FREE TO COMMENT. I WROTE ALL OF THE DATES,CAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW HOW WELL THE TRANSFER ATTACHMENT WILL GO. BET YOU PEOPLE ARE AMAZEDTHAT THE SUN DOES SHINE ON THE OREGON COAST IN

I'm not sure you have those dates quite correct, as it relates to dating your knife. If you would be willing to post here.....

I am no expert on this brand of knife and Bill's suggestion is a great one. I wanted to comment on your photo's . They are looking much better already. 
The coins help for size and give interest to the knife. Although Mr. Levine would chew on you to use only lite colors for the background. If the goal is to be able to identify the knife then you should do this, if the goal is to present the knife in a formal manner, then darker is OK. I am not critizing, 
I like what your doing, I just thought I might give you some pointers. I am no photographer, I have just been told these things by people far more knowledgable then I am. Keep up the good work
