That looks great so far! Funny, I have one of those that I am working on right now as well. It was a boy scout model, which looks to be the same as yours.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

That knife makes for a really nice restoration. Here is the 72 that Orvet did for me. It started out with the handles cracked, chipped and broken and Orvet rehandled in smooth red bone.

(SITKA Black Tail deer? where did you get the antlers? Isnt Sitka in Alaska?)

There is some evidence in the photo titled "The Find". That is a pic I sent him, you
can clearly see the blocks of wood under the knife are the ones in ALOT of my posts
from the old acct.
