Help with case xx identification and value

Found this case xx in box of old stuff. Have wiped with oil but still looks rough, there is no model number or serial number, there are three dots on the handle. I have browsed through lots of pics on case knife sites and cant match it. I am not trying to sell, it was in my family stuff, but i would like to know what year its from and ballpark worth. Thanks.

The tang stamp on the blade dates it to the XX period, 1940-1964. I think the pattern is a 62009-1/2, the book values it in mint condition around $125.00.

Thanks... the story wasnt making sense because the closest thing i could match it to was about 1978 from some other knives i looked at, but it was in atrifacts that should have dated it to the early 50's, I'm glad to hear that it does match the time period I expected. It would have belonged to an uncle that died before I was born, I'm glad to be able to preserve it. Thanks for everyone's help.

Any chance this was a display knife at one time?

As others have said its a 62009 1/2 barlow with sawcut black composition handles. The interesting thing is that particular example was made by Utica Cutlery on contract for Case.
