USA Marked Knife with Cowboy Image (need help on the cowboy)

Post by Draac »

I bought this hoard of items off of Ebay for $25.00 (a lot of stuff for the flee market..:+) See Threee images of the hoard below. Among the hoard were four knives, one is a USA marked tang knife with a cowboy image on the handle. (last two images).

Question:

1 - Does anyone know if the cowboy is perhaps Roy Rogers or maybe John Wayne or a generic cowboy image ?

2 - Was the USA brand a knife company on it's own or a mark of some other knife company ?

Thanks for any info on this knife,

Looks like John Wayne, the hat, scarf (kerchief), more so than Will, or Roy Rodgers.

I think I'll go wih the John Wayne people on this, it does look like him to me.

Now the racoon people, need to see an eye doctor, just kidding...LOL

Thanks for looking at it though, all of you...:+)
