I don`t know what to tell you about the price Jerry 
I do know that Vietnam vets are buying back original knives from that era and paying big money.
Compared to an original it is not very expensive

Maybe there were not many of that particular model made. You know how it is. Shiny sells but rarity sells for big money.
There were two guys in my unit that had Randalls. Both were billeted in my hooch. StClair had a model #1 and Kjentvet had a Model #18 and if my memory serves me, I think it was a crutchtip. Steve let the Mod. #18 go sometime during the intervening years. Does he wish he had it back? Is Baker's Square, Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme the best pie in the whole world?
