Joe, this is as close as I can get to a trapper. It's a big knife. Over 4".

I don't know what Imperial called it.

Thanks Jim! several had the original oil in them but it was starting to clog up the works so had to do a little cleanin. ::nod:: There was quite a bit of dust in that roll. Looks like the Orange Bengal striped Barlow is the oldest with a 38' to 44' stamp. The rest are mostly 45' to 55's with a couple 4 finger ones in the Toothpick Scalers.

This Bengal Barlow (as I call it  ) has a nice swedge that adds to it's beauty.
When the light hits it right, there's a bit of red that shines through as well.

Thanks blinddog! ::tu:: The Kamp King is actually a KK Jr. The regular KK is a 4 blade, the 4th being a punch.

Yeah, Ramrod! I was lookin for ONE of the "trapperats" ::paranoid:: .
Ended up with 7 of them and the box!!! The end of the box has a quantity stamp of "6 ea."

This shield wasn't found on any Hammer Brands. It showed up about 20 years
after Imperial dropped the Hammer Brand line.
Imperial made a "HB series" of seven different folders and three fixed blades.

Oh yeah, the "hammer forging" marks are "roll stamped" into the blades! NOT truly hammer forged!

Now I'm huntin' for the fixed blades...........

I have been looking for one of these for some time, found one today.

It is a shell handle Super-Duper Kamp-King.

This thing has 6-blades, it has 2 can openers and 2 bottle openers ::shrug::

Why, I don`t know. I like the way they left two dimples in the shell to simulate pinned on handles.

It needs some cleaning, maybe I can talk Perry into cleaning it up for me ::idea:: He does such a nice job ::nod:: :)
