Hi Paul, I was looking at that knife. The only question I had on it was: the last number 2 in the pattern number indicates black composition, but the knife has redwood scales according to the seller. It also looks like wood scales in the photos. Not calling it into question, though, I had about made up my mind to get it but my decision was made easy by the fact that it was gone. Good buy on that one.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Here's a few that showed up in the last couple of days or so.
A 'lil well loved 7 dot 6333
An excessively cleaned NYKC (for $6.51 I ain't complain)
An Imperial church key..... I've been on a roll lately finding the keys
And last, but in no way the least, a Hammer Brand with a sideways USA stamp
(Seems I've got my very own personal ebay search assistant
. My buddy, "singin' Perry", spotted this one
Thank ya, man.)
The Hammer Brand with the "sideways" USA on the stamp has the post war '45 -'55 arm and hammer logo.
I need you guys input on this one.
Could it be a first production run after changing the stamp in '45 to incorporate the "USA"?
A prototype stamp?
It's definitely not a misprint.
What are your thoughts on this?

The sideways USA is very unusual, the yellow handle one is also very hard to find, nice snags Joe!
Paul, that would've been all it took for me to pull the trigger too.
