CASE 11031 SH

Post by Turkey Creek Tom »

Does Case today make a work horse knife like the 11031 SH?
What year was this knife last made?
The one in the picture is a 1971 and it has the snap of a steel trap and the shield is pinned on.
I spoke to two men recently who do not collect knives but use them and they said the 11031 is their favorite all time ever day user.
They said these are hard to find.
WHAT'S YOU THOUGHTS? :D

They are heavy well built knives. I saw a mint one at a show this morning, didn't bother to ask the price though. The only thing I have against them is the edge geometry is a bit thick for my taste, nothing I couldn't take care of though i suppose.
