Davey Allison Case Hard Charger 1992. knife on EBAY

Listed this 2-3 days ago, In pristine condition seems noone on ebay knows its true value. i actually listed it lower than its book value from what i was told.
Chime in and let me know what you think.. id like to know if these are truely saught after or its a specialty purchase collectors item.

hey ripped. a knifes value is subjective. my book does'nt show your knife but ir shows a big 1 of 1000 coke pattern for richard petty and it's value is placed at $215. from what book did you get your price? most knives don't realize the "book" value. nice for the nascar fan but of less interest for others. good luck.

Just as information...

The Davey Allison 1992 "Hard Charger"...2,000 made...is listed in Houston Price's Guide at a value of $90.00. However, your knife appears to have a much higher quality display case than the one described.

El Lobo.. Wrong Knife..

found it listed as 1 of 1000 and booked at 875.00 it typically brings 650.00 at resale for collectors, Ill keep it in the safe with the projectile weaponry for another 10 years. then see what she brings.

I had even relisted it at 399.00 and it did not move, i suppose that is due to ill exposure via ebay. and the fact that it is a nascar collectible not so much on a Knife collectors wish list.

for the record, this is not my listing nor my knife,, just another of the 999 left out there.

If you want $650 for her you better sell it at the track or keep her in that safe of yours for twenty years! ....I bought three of these when they first came out for $109 each & gave em to my older brother because he is into racing! ....I have sold loads of NASCAR commemorative knives in the past & they never move well in the hobby, commemorative cutlery (depending on what it is & what they commemorate) are in a classification all on their own & only appeal to a small percentage of collectors in the knife hobby! ....I couldn't find your knife value of $850 either, what book are you getting your information from??? ....Last note; ----> Good luck on your auction, I hope you get what your askin for her!

The knife lists in some of the nascar collectors books at that price, however i found a site that is selling them for just under 600.00 , ill just hold onto it for years and see what it does.

Case NASCAR Winston Cup collectible limited edition folding pocket knives. Case cutlery contracted these knives out in the late 1980 and early 1990s to little river knife company who secured endorsements with many Winston Cup and NASCAR HALL OF FAME drivers of the day. They are all VERY LOW NUMBERS and even some engraved 000 and Prototype.
