Re: VERY BOGUS!!!!!
Bogus Knife....... only time, research, reading, and being a member of a knife forum such as AAPK, CCC, or knifeforums will somebody learn about looking out for counterfeiting knives such as this one
To me even if you sent a knife back to Case that is say 60 years old with cracked handeles they will not have those handles laying around that will match up with that knife try to get Red Bone handles like they done back before the mid seventies and see what you get back
If you expect to learn everything about knives in one day good luck it's an everyday learning experience for me and I know for other members of this great forum and at CCC
"If it looks like c--- and smells like c--- guess what it probably is"
Call what it is and explain what is

Thanks Lynn
Phil I think that every knife listed here should not have an explination to make everyone who views it think about what is wrong with the knife.

I would have responded but since I have held that knife in my hands and heard the story of its origins, I thought that would not be playing fair. BTW ain't you tired of that thing yet?BIGHEAD wrote:The Blades and Frame are probably correct but IMHO I don't think this knife is what the seller claims. So IMHO it is Bogus. I only had one response to the knife I posted, And Elvis nailed it 100% I had this knife done for me in a 75 pattern the only thing that came from the Factory is the blades. Bolsters, liners Backsprings, scales and shield are all Bogus as far as a authentic knife. I carry this knife and it will NOT veer be in circulation unless my Nephew who will get it when I die sells it and I have told him it is not an Authentic knife.
BTW the guy who did this NO LONGER Does this type work! this was the last one he said he will ever do ,and me knowing him and the knives he is Making now no need to worry about him trying to fake anything.
