Bulldog Peacock Knife
I am not sure many have any of these.
If you do PLEASE show them here.
I have this one with a nice Peacock in the blade.

Nice one, Justold! Here is a 3 blade 1993 sowbelly 3 7/8" I used to have and a 5 blade 1996 standing dog 3 5/8" pearl sowbelly I still have. Bulldog did some complex etching and coloring that you just don't see on other knives.

Re: Bulldog Bird knife
Ken,
That is a great looking stockman knife! (I love the sowbellys too.) That particular frame and size is what I'm really after lately.
I think it would really be great if makers would start to revive the style of decorating the blades
like your Bulldog and how Fight'n Rooster did it also.
The prices are pretty dear, I've noticed on these knives, so it would be a great collectors market it seems to me.

I have a set of these. I don't know much about them. I'm thinking about selling them with the case.

Anyone know anything about these? There's 18 knives total. The case has a bulldog with the brand name etched on the glass. I've been doing research online and can't seem to find another set like this. The knives have BD 000 etched on the blades.

Is that a 2 bladed jack at the top right corner, and a 2 bladed moose pattern (middle knife in 2nd row down from top)? That congress pattern looks nice as well. Were you going to sale them all together at once, or split them up and sale each knife seperately? All nice knives.

Re: Bulldog Peacock Knife
Those peacocks are truly beautiful and impressive, but the celluloid worries me. How much longer can they last? A philosophic creation, the fleeting beauty of life set against a reality of pain and suffering. Should artifical means be used to extend their lives? Jeez, it's too early in the morning to think like that. I need to make some real coffee. (And forget about it too eventually becoming a smelly waste product.) Now you see why I've been reluctant to say anything sooner. These knives give me very conflicting feelings.
