Searching for a Unique pair of knives

My Father had once owned a pair of dual bladed knives. the knives were unique in that the blades, we facing the the opposite direction, and if you had it's pair, like my father had, they connected and interlocked to form a four point curved throwing star. I've tried to search them online but couldn't find them (asking about the type, or name of what they would be called.) no matter where i looked. does anyone have a pair like this or know what I'm explaining? I'd like to know what they were so i can order a pair.
