Need Help Identifying a vintage single blade pocket knife

I inherited a solid brass single blade pocket knife. The knife is solid brass including the blade itself. It is 4 1/4" in length with blade open. Closed it measures 2 3/4". The design on the sides I think are of oriental design. There is a female figure with hands held as if praying. She almost looks as if she is a genie coming out of a bottle. This knife was given to me from a family friend who was a World War II veteran and I believe he may have picked up this knife when overseas. I am not certain of this though. I looked thoroughly over the entire body and blade and there are no markings what so ever with any lettering or name the name of the company that made this knife. I will attempt to add a picture to this post in hopes that someone out there may have even the slightest amount of information on this knife and value. Thanks for the help!

Most of these that I've seen originated in Thailand. Unfortunately, that's about all I have to offer on them.

It does look to be typica "Siam" with high relief and oriental dancing girl. See pic of Siam lighter.

Thanks so much for the valuable information. Any rough idea when these knives were made and by whom? I did locate someone on Ebay selling the same knife but they do know who made the knife or when it was made either.

My grandfather bought a few back in the late 70's if that helps any.

I think your knife is prolly a low grade gold alloy. I spent time in Thailand and have letter opener and folding knife made from this material. Brass would tarnish if not cleaned regularly. Nice keepsake for sure

You may be right, I never tested it but I was thinking the same thing. I have one and it does not oxidize like Brass does. It may be Bronze but even that develops a patina.
