Which do you prefer?? Elk Horn Stag or Sambar Stag??

the elk is excellent...... but i have to go with the sambar stag.

Gary - They're both beautiful - I'd be proud to own either one but I'd have to say the Sambar is my favorite! GB

I don't like either one when they start cutting it down out in the middle. But Sambar is just hard to beat; but elk can look a lot better than what Case does with it.

Hi Knifeswapper, I've been waiting to hear someone say that, and I agree with you 100%. I told my wife when the elk knife came in the mail that it would be a beautiful knife if only they had left some bark on the stag. Much of Case's sambar stag is the same now days, which is another reason why I like the older Case knives. This along with glued in shields etc. are among the things I would love to see Case change.
