Schatt & Morgan single blade doctor

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

i bought one.
i'm actually looking to get rid of mine.
i like all of queen's dr. knives for the most part (except ones with the spatula blade).
the blade action is typically very easy with no half stops.
this particular one was a little bit of a letdown for me, though.
the fit & finish on mine was not what i had come to expect from queen.
don't get me wrong - it's still nicer than your average case, imho.
it's just not as nice as the schatts were 3-5 years ago.
of all the knives they've built on the dr. frame, the premier small english jack and 2001 marble's doc are still my favorites.
