Schatt & Morgan Premier #7

This just came in today. It's a beautifully well made knife and is my only knife with matchstriker pulls. You will have to get one of these sunburst.

Ahhhhh the agony ::doh:: ::doh:: ::drool:: ::drool:: ::drool::

You sure know how to kick up my drooling problem James.. :) That is one little sweet knife and one that I have been watching since it was introduced. Everybody that has seen that particular knife seems to rave about the quality and craftsmanship....I really dig those matchstrike pulls!!!

Sigh...There just ain't enough money in my pocket at times....

Thank you for sharing...I gotta go now and wipe off my keyboard...

Regards,

Sunburst

Thanks sunburst :D I figured you would like it. The quality is fantastic and the fit and finish is fantastic as well. It is my favorite of all my knives.

I totally agree jfarmer, I got one from Bill 3 weeks ago. It's one of the best looking/assembled knives I've seen. If only the premier #8 whittler I've got ordered is as nice I will be one happy camper. ::tu::

That is very nice ::drool:: I eagerly await your review. I might consider one for myself. Although as Sunburst and others have clearly demonstrated, one can not stop at just 1 or 10 or .... It might be a slippery slope to financial ruin. ::doh:: s-k

I too now under stand and agree. Just so many super good look girls here. I too what to Owen more. I don’t under stand yet after I get one in the mail and just Ren Wax it. Hold it in my hands. Drool over it some more. Log it in my files. Add it to my Insurance list. Then store it. I see one more that I want but financial I have to wait.

I started with just saving Schrade, then some Boker, then some Sog, then some Black Jack, then some Buck, then some Case, Kissing Crane, Marbles, Remington, Steel Warrior, Western, Westmark, Winchester, Yellowhorse, A.J. Henkels, AND NOW Cold Steel.
I want some S&M and others too.

How and when does this stop? My wifey what’s to know too?

Hi Ken. You must have quite a collection. Do you ever sell/trade any of your knives or do you just keep adding to your collection? Where do you keep them all? Just when I think mine is going in a particular direction I see something else I like, e.g., these Schatts. If I do decide to buy a few I would get a Whittler and the English Jack. Have a great weekend :) s-k

It is quite an addiction. I started out collecting only Case XX. Then I started buying the old Hammer Brand and Imperials. Recently I started buying Schatt & Morgan and Robeson. I have my dads old Queen knives too. I don't feel like it is money wasted. One old collector told me that knives were better than money in the bank. Time will tell I guess.

smiling-knife ; I have not sold a knife yet. I fell that cuz most of what I have came from E-bay (the highest bidder) that the value of haveing a knife only one year has not gone up in price enough to sell and get back the shipping cost.
I have 2 collections one to pass on and one to sell in like 5 years. But in 5 years will I stop buying ????? I can NOT stop now. My want list just keeps getting bigger. Its up to 2 pages now.
Then thanks to the help of Sunburse and jfarmer and others here in seeing what the mailman brings them. Well you know it makes me want MORE. Is there a Dr. in the HOUSE? ::shrug:: ::smack::
I did show my old gun case that I turned in to a knife case with lights.
That is where I store my Cell handles. The others just in boxes yet.

REAL NICE S&M's but I want them too. ::dang:: ::dang::
