Hay Gino, can you post a pic of the stamp on that odd fixed blade?

Does it have a four finger grip on the hammer handle?

VERY interesting knife. ::tu::

Here are some Imperial two-tone "pen knives".

Ink refill info. is on the back of counter display.

The display pretty much speaks for itself.

Up until today, I only had four. Today, my buddy came over carrying a 1960s advertising USA so now I have five.

Top left - Prov. Cutlery USA fish knife
Top right - The USA advertising knife
Middle left - Colonial USA camping knife
Middle right - Imperial USA '56-'88 Kamp King scout knife
Bottom - early 1950s IKC USA combo letter opener / knife

I bought that one on the quick and my little pea brain didn't stop to figure out that the mechanics would be just a mite too complicated to have a two bladed automatic. ::dang:: ::dang:: ::dang::

Actually Schrade made some two blade autos, but I don't recall seeing one with a shell handle, but I don't think that would matter.

I went to the local gun store today for some Birchwood Casey cleaner.
I saw a box on the counter with a sign: MAKE AN OFFER.

So I picked up a little shell for my key chain.
Now my wife wants it! "You can't have it, it is a miniature. I collect the miniatures," she said.  ::dang::

Very cool Dale! I just bought a card that has 9 of these on it. If your wife gets yours, I may have one to replace it with. Everytime I go in a Pawn shop here, they tell me they sold their knives on ebay. Hey that would clean up nicely Dale! ::tu::

I weeded out my shell handled knives last night, I also have a letter opener like jerryd's somewhere, with the words, "Holsteins, the breed of the future." Guess it was made for some agro-event.

Thanks! Hope including it in the picture doesn't cause me any problems. I have a Schrade push button as well. I was going to start a push button thread then thought I better not. 8)

No problem with Switchblades at all on AAPK.
It is absolutely fine to have a switchblade thread here.
Why don't you start in in the Knife Lore forum as they will mostly be the old classic makers and that will be a good fit there?

I live in Oregon.
We Oregonians can buy, sell, carry, use, collect, repair & manufacture switchblades in Oregon.
It works out well for Benchmade Knives, located in Oregon City, OR.

Its all legal here (with possible exception of some municipalities, who's restrictions may soon end). ::tu::

Alright....... Who's up for those sweet Candy shells? ::ds::

Let's see um, guys!

That's a nice one, redrider! ::tu:: Single her out and show us a close-up!

(Hay gringo, the shell handle knives are very, very rare. There's not much info. on them on the web   )

These are all Imperial & Hammer.
The 2 blade toothpick is an Imperial.
It's harder to find a candy toothpick than it is to find an auto!!
