Did any of you guys end up with

Post by Tom Hudson »

i engraved a lot of knives for frank - any of you guys end up with any of them? - here is the style of engraving i used - At the blade show one year Frank gave me a picture of a boxed set of case Canoe pattern knives (3 knife set made in the mid 80's) they had this style of engraving & Frank liked it. I must have done 30 or 40 just Sunfish plus many other pattern's -

notice in the lower pic in the lower right corner you will see a little "th" engraved into the bolster - i know i signed some of the knives but i don't think i signed any of the earlier ones i did for frank- Tom

I haven't done any work for them since Frank died - I sent a couple of e-mails -maybe the kid had a friend or they just don't engrave anything anymore - never heard a word from them - I never knew when Frank was going to send me a batch - he would just box them up put in a few 100 bills - cash - and take them to the post office - no note nothin - just let me do my thing - Frank was a good man! - tom

Nice work. Did you do this one? I looked for your initials but I can't find them.
