The subject just about says it all. It is from the 70-85 period. Nice patina appears unused. It has a Navy Mk 5 Helmet on it and came from a Navy Retiree.

It's a fine specimen, I hope to run across one of them someday...if I could only find a seller that doesn't really know what they have! What's the weight like on it?

It weighs out at three pounds even on my postal scale. That is in the sheath with no belt or hanger. I had been looking for one for near twenty years. This just goes to prove, you have to stop at all those little innocuous signs saying garage or whatever sale. I am still kicking myself for walking away from a 1940's wood encased semi portable radio phonograph player. I got the big bowie in the fixed blade category also at same place.

I know...I know...my brother in law hits every garage sale within 30 miles from here and I'm always kicking myself when he shows me what he found. I don't think to stop as I don't usually have much cash to play with, but deep inside I know that is the exact reason why I should stop.
