boker solingen knife information

Hi there, I found this site and thought someone out there could shed some light on this knife. It was given to me by my grandma, who migrated to Australia just after WW2.
It has a tree emblem on the body of the knife, with "solingen" The body is almost like a tree bark pattern or something similar.
On each of the blades it has the tree emblem, with "Boker Solingen" and underneath it has Germany Alemania.
The blades need a bit of TLC as theyre a bit weathered and it doesnt have a case.
Ive included some pictures.
If someone could shed some light on it for me, it would be greatly appreciated! I cant seem to find much information anywhere on whether they are collectible or what they are worth or anything.

Here is one that sold recently on ebay. This may give you an idea of the value of one in like new condition.

That tang stamp was used circa early 1950s-early 1960s.
This is one of Bokers "signature" patterns. Nowadays it is known as pattern #182, or the "camp knife". In the 1960s it was pattern 7593. It is one of the most popular and valuable Boker patterns.
You have a wonderful treasure, not just because of the value ($80-$100), but because it was Grandma's knife!
And I must say, she has excellent taste in cutlery

I definitely dont plan on getting rid of it, it would look good on display in the lounge or something!
I will take it to a knife place down here and see if they can clean it up a bit.
Its good to know a bit of background about this knife!

I agree. Wipe the blades with a little oil and remove any gunk from inside the handle. Oil the joints. s-k
