Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
Boy I sure am behind on this one. My keyboard lost contact with the computer and all I could do was read, couldn't write.
Marty - What a beautiful Golden and what a kind face. In all those pictures I believe what she is thinking is "Hey, here I am, put down the camera
and come scratch my butt and rub my belly
Gary - Sorry that you lost Dusty, he was a beautiful animal and I know you miss him still.
Don - Beautiful dogs. Do they always line up like that? Pecking order? I think those Australian Shepherds are some of the smartest dogs. A friend of mine had one and she was amazing. 'Bout the only thing they can't do is talk, but they do get their point across.
Cope - Really cool pups. Me and little dogs just never got along. Seems they're very territorial and possissive of their masters and really don't have time for strangers.
Mike - Again, Jessie is one beautiful animal. Not too much on birds though. My dear old aunt always had parakeets and canaries. Great cheerful singers, the canaries that is.
Monk - Don't really know what to say about that one excep that I hope you keep it penned up. Looks pretty mean.
Joe - We've had 5-cats in 40-years and all have been way too independent for me.
George - Sorry for your loss, it's tough to give up your Old Pal, I know
Rosy was magnificient.

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
My wife is VERY allergic to cats and dogs, so we have a 24 gallon coral reef aquarium. Not very warm, cuddly and fuzzy, but at least they pay their own way. I sell the coral cuttings back to the fish store as they outgrow the aquarium in exchange for fish food and saltwater.
In case you were wondering, none of my fish or coral were harvested from the ocean. Everything was bred in captivity by other aquarists.
Here's a Youtube video of my aquarium. It looks so much better in action.

Thank you Vikingdog!!! I he's the best!
GeorgeCAtl ,
Im very sorry for your loss, Rosy was a very beautiful Pup.
Augustus88, WOW! Beautiful colors!
Fish are said to bring peace of mind, and Lord knows we could all use a little more of that!
I wish I could figure out a way for Carson to pay for himself like your fish do, He tends to be a bit lazy though!!!

Thanks Monk, Mike and Marty!
Mike,
That Norwegian Elkhound of yours is absolutely beautiful!!!
Marty,
Fish may look peaceful, but that black Clown fish will bite the crap out of your hand if you get near "its spot" without a tasty treat as a distraction. I've been thinking about Kevlar gloves for cleaning and maintenance work...LOL
Looks like Carson is working hard keeping that bed down on the floor to me.

Thank you sir, we love 'em to death...no real pecking order, but my wife seems to line them up like that for pics for some reason. They are very intelligent and aware of what's goin' on. My wife competes them in agility...couldn't imagine not havin' em' around, great dogs.

This is a really good upbeat thread. I love looking at these various pets you guys have. I've always thought you could tell a lot about a person's character by the way they treat animals. You guys are tops in my book!

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
Hey Tom, those two cats look like they are under the hot lamp getting the 6th degree. Looks almost like the one on the left is about to say, 'I got nothing to say to you Copper, see, nothing you dirty rat!'
I'm not picture capable to show it but my wife has one of those Mexican lap dogs. I can't hand her the TV remote, newspaper, or even point my finger at her without that dog going into hyper overdrive attack mode. I do believe it's a trained spy. Everytime I'm on Ebay, here it will come, then up on my lap and in front of the monitor it goes setting and looking at the screen. After a couple of minutes of setting there watching, it's down and off back to the wife to give it's secret intel report, ............ I think.
Maybe I buy too many knives and I'm just feeling guilty and paranoid?

Just like Cope's dogs Hydro and Molly, they are some of the most loyal animals in the world!!!
My sister had one when we were growing up, and my brothers and I couldnt go near her with out her dog going nuts!!

Tom, your cats are so cool! They look like they are warm and fluffy and yet very much in charge!!
What are there names?

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
Here is my dog Spike. I owned Dobermans most of my life but when we were moving into my new house 13 years ago my wife wanted a smaller dog and she saw this breed in a dog show. He is a Manchester terrior. They have all the markings of a Dobe but are 70 pounds lighter. He is the best dog I ever owned but unfortunately he is 13 years old and showing it. I will truely miss this old boy when he goes. He is a true friend.

Here is my boy Buzzy, with Kathy and the kids. He loves the creek in the summer, and pesters me everyday to go hunting. He got his 505th career pheasant this year. He turned 13 a couple days ago.

Thanks Mike. I am sorry to hear about your old Vikingdog. I have worried for years how long Buzz would last, even knowing it is pointless to worry. I am thankful he has had this long. I try to make every day count, and hunt him some every day I can. He loves to hunt more than life itself.
