Keen Kutter table knives & forks w/box...........
Got the knives and forks some time ago and just won the box on e-Bay.All it needed was a little felt lining(and spacers which I still have to make)and the knives fit perfectly.Box is in great shape and only $17 including the shipping.

What a very smart package that is!!! Nice going. Great deal on the box.
By the way; how is it that these sets do not have spoons with them?
I have an old bone handled set, no spoons.

Not really sure Joe.I have an old box of Wm.Rodgers table knives and there were 6 in the box and nothing else.I also have several steak knife sets and there are usually either 6 or 8 to a box.
Most Gerber sets are multiples of 6 but I have seen one with 8.
As I recall most silver services were for either 6,8,or 12.The same goes for dinner services(plates;cups;saucers;etc.).

Because Joe, the old timers knew how to eat soup with a fork and peas with a knife. We've lost those skills in modern society.FRJ wrote:By the way; how is it that these sets do not have spoons with them?
