I've got that Johnny Muskrat that Jonet posted in this thread and it has two springs. I also just noticed that it's numbered #128

I got it from the first Johnny Fain auction run by Orvet about a year ago. Here's a link to what Johnny had to say about the knife, scroll down.

I had one of those Case Johnny Muskrats once. I thought it was a nice little knife. Sadly, I lost it somewhere along life's highway. The wierd part is I didn't even carry it. I don't know if I lost it by putting it up and forgot where I put it at where I live now or the place where I used to live, or in the move between the two places.

Hey Aimus - Do you remember where you got it? Since they are numbered, they must have been made for some organization?Aimus Moses wrote:I had one of those Case Johnny Muskrats once. Yeah Tom, I got mine in a trade. I never had any information on it. Just thought it was a neat little knife and that's why I traded for it. Sorry that I didn't have any info on it and can't be of any more help with them. I like to know more about them myself too.

The one I've got has double springs, can't speak for the others.
