Whittlers ?

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

tjmurphy lets take your 1/2 Whittler and press mine to it. Then would we have a full Whittler?

Well Ken, I think we would end up with a whittler and a third. In this case 2 + 2 does not = 3 (blades that is). You know, those Dan Burke's with the Winterbottom scales are really nice knives. I like mine a lot. I've also got the small trapper and I think you do too, right?

::dang:: ::dang:: I have a short memory.!!

I asked this in some tread I think ? Now I can't remember the answer... ::dang:: ::dang::

The last S&M whittler I put away had 1/2 stops on the 2 small blades. Is this common with S&Ms or most Whittlers ?

I also am having a hard time getting any CS Whittlers... ::shrug::

Ken
"traditional" whittlers have a round tang on the master blade and square tang on the two smaller blades.
of course, there are plenty of exceptions out there.

Very nice Whittlers, thanks for sharing! Here's a Boker bone S&M year 2000 I picked up at Clarence's show.
