This is an antler handled knife. The owner I bought it from picked up approximately 20 years ago at a flea market. The knife has a carbon steel blade that is approximately 4 1/2" long by 1 1/4" at the widest point and has a heavy brass guard tapered at each end. When he got the knife he put a leather wrap around the handle and stitched it with cotton thread. It provides a very unique look as well as making it very confortable to grip.
I picked it up for $27.00. I like it, it's different looking. There are no markings on the tang (I wish there were but I still enjoy it).

Looks like an Indian Trader kit blade and guard with white tail handle. They had good steel and were very useful.
