That is outstanding Jeff! I would say that is one of your better knives and it is very tastefully put together. The blue turquoise with the black and white accents make a bold looking knife.

The file work is toned down (delicate), so it ends up enhancing the knife.
I like working with recon stones, no special equipment is needed, they look great (come out in vivid colors). The recon is more stable, less likely to break, but can when dropped, just less likely to. The quality is always decent, no worries of small little fissures (micro-cracks). Those were from Jantz and I think full scales (set of 2) are only $15.95. I believe they are 86% stone and 14% polymer. They are different to work with for sure, on the Bader it seems as if the material starts to melt (actually it seems to fold over on itself if to hot).
