R1613 Pic Question is Is it real

Post by rdj2903 »

I Posted this on general forum and didn't get much response, there is no evidence of this knife being messed with, it doesn't have the small lines pictures in the books, however the blade clearly says R1613. This knife has all of the patina of being real or someone else being very good. Your thoughts please.

it looks ok. we could tell more with pics of the whole knife. blade profile, tang marks. hard to make a call with just the one pic.

looks good to me. with such a valuable knife, it might be better to get it looked at professionally. bernard levine does this for a nominal fee.
