Desert Storm M10..!

This one should be called the knife that never was...definitely not US military and never saw action in the gulf war. The knife was made by Mella Cutlery of Canada, a manufacturer of Canadian bayonets. They must of had a over run of blades and put together a M3 type knife...why they choose M10 as a name...who know's. The blade itself is not bad but the assembly of the guard, handle and pommel leave alot to be desired...I doubt it would pass any millitary trial's.

An interesting knife, but not one I'd bet my life on...

I have one of these...definitely a fantasy m-3 piece that started showing up about 20 years ago. The M10 on the scabbard is the model of the scabbard, not the knife. Among the fake numbers, etc. on the bag they came in was this simple name: KNIFE,COMBAT:DESERT. The NSN numbers on it were for mechanical parts. Scabbards were made by a company that actually made real black M10 scabbards for M-7 bayonets.

Thank's elbertson, I've been curious what those numbers referred to...the scabard itself is not bad, but the attachment's for
carrying seem a bit flimsy.
