Standard Knife...Legit?

Post by Cope »

Some of you vintage collectors tell me if this knife is an OLD Standard and if it's correct. The auction is up in about 4 hours.

The stamp on the shield looks a little slanted, could've been a factory mess up, don't know bout the pile side scales. Might be authentic, hard to tell. ::shrug::

An hour to go, $24.50. I'll bet that thing jumps in the last minute. It will be interesting to watch.

They were supposedly made for Case by Ka-Bar during the 1930`s.

I have one marked Union Knife Works that is Identical.

These two are exactly the same. I don`t think they are Fake.

Thanks MB for the info. Man if you'd came along a few minutes quicker I'd have bought that one. I was hoping you or philco would chime in since you two are scout knife extraordinaires. I'm not a scout collector but I liked the Standard. That one went worth the money. Maybe next time.
