Wow Monk! I've not heard that one in yars and yars. It ranks right up there with "You got more s**t than a cranberry merchant" - meaning you're full of it.

Thank you Mark I appreciate it.

TJ, I know you like the Wharnnies, you really owe it to yourself to get one of these. Beautiful lines, slender, feels great in the hand and a super wharn blade, love the length. Real slick knife ::tu::

Bill, I'm definitely hooked and enjoying every moment.

Alan, yep as soon as I saw that vibrant figuring in the snakewood I had to have it, I've owned it before on a few customs and your right tough to find with that clarity........my first toe.

Monk that stag one is a beauty ::tu::

Hey Monk, I see that ones a "Genuine Stag". I've been trying to figure out what the difference is between "Burnt Stag" and "Genuine Stag", other than the price.

Just won this little pearly congress on feebay.
Got it at my favorite price - CHEEP! ::tu:: An impulse buy it wuz. This is only my SECOND congress knife.
Decided I will polish, sharpen, fold, spindle, and mutilate this one. Gonna see how it fits in my pocket fer a while. United Boker, circa 1984-1994.

Best I can tell,Jerry,is that on the genuine, they do nothing,to the stag ( it's natural, off the deer rack)---and the burnt stag, has been, flame burned,to give it more color_________seems to me it would cost more ??? for the extra step???_______I've got some burnt stags, that can, almost pass for genuine, and some genuine, that look burnt ::dang:: ::dang:: now I am confused ::paranoid:: ::paranoid::

Actually, I think I like the toasted look of the burnt stag better. Another one of those, every feller to his own notions, things.

Those are two hot tamales but they would look even better if they had Wharncliffe blades, cut with an old time swedge.
