Old Single-Blade Case Knives
My Dad is an avid knife collector. Over 20 years ago he gave me two old single-blade case knives. He gave me many knives and I recall him reminding me several times that these were worth more than any he had given me. One is brown C61050SAB and the other is bone with brown (stag?) D61050SAB. They are both app. 5 3/4" long with the blades just over 5". They have never been used; however the stag? has very minimal black dots on the blade that I believe can be cleaned. The brown is perfect, shiny, like brand new! Can anyone help me? I would like to sell these knives and know nothing about them. Thanks!

The value will depend largely on the age. If you have pictures to post; that would really help us. With the pattern numbers that you gave, they should be laminated wood or bone handled knives. I call them Large Coke Bottles. You can probably see why. If you go to the link below, you can figure out the age...

I wouldn't clean them very much if I were you. At most, just wipe them down a little. Abrasive cleaning will devalue them in most Cases.
