Hey TJ,my bad,its a bone handled Moore Maker Swell Center Trapper. Pics don't do it justice,has a thin brass liner just inside the the pill crusher end and some nice light tan mottling to the bone that doesn't show up very well on the photo..... I love the elegant style of the clip blade.

Wow!! Johnnie. I've always drooled over the Yellowhorse pieces, both in knives and Zippos. You are one lucky guy. Congrats.

Well, I left the house this morning at :shock: 4:30 am ::barf:: and was in the mountains of the Cumberland by sun up. You know, round where Sargent York grew up! Got to the Parker's show right after the doors opened at 9am and went to lookin round. Not near as much as 2 years ago but still a huge selection of all kinds of Pocket Joy! I found this guy that had some decent prices on FRs so I began to talk with him and we had good fun knife story swappin and then I pulled the trigger on this Fight'n Rooster Hard Times STAG! He had $48 on it, I asked if he would do $40, he said after a minute,,,YES! This is a little hard to find in this condition so I was very pleased.
Image
Then I went over and GAWKED ::drool:: ::drool:: at all the Case Classics I couldn't afford. Jim Parker's private collection was there and they were beeeuuutiiiful. To see all those CCs not a scratch anywhere and with the COAs, MAN, I was in heaven boys! Then had to grab a copy of PA's new book about GEC.
Image
Bought it and this knife from the GEC folks. Been wantin this one ever since I saw GunStock Jack's Little Carver. Cocobolo wood handles. 1 of 50 built, such a well built knife to be only 3' in length. Well, that's my trip and it was fast I know but I don't play around when it comes to the hunt.

Singin, Both very nice! The GEC is especially Gorgeous, but then again the Fightin Rooster Speaks for itself too. Is that a pinched bolster on the Carver or just the pic? I do like the looks of that Cocobola Wood.

Here is the one I've been longin for awhile. Wish it wasn't cleaned but I'm ok with it. Not the tightest ship on the Sea as one can see with the blade riding just a bit high but I like just the same.... :wink:

Thanks Johnnie,

This guy is a bit loose, both side to side and on the opening as expected for for a knife like this. Its cool though, I wouldn't fix for anything. I like em worn... Its been a long wait, and although not "mint" so to say it was tough enough afford this one :?

Thanks Again ::tu::

That's how it happens Earl, the way I got hooked was the same. Except with me, I chose about 6 different patterns all at the same time. $$$$$$$ :shock: I have since dialed back obviously.
