Dale, do you want to adopt me. I wouldn't mind getting that for Christmas. Maybe you should just send it this way in the spirit of the brotherhood of the Corps. :lol:

Hey '46, not tryin' to steal your "signature" backdrop or anything, but I literally took these while stuck in traffic this morning, and the gloves were the best thing I had ... (yes I was sitting still) ...

No problem at all Edge. Looks good man! I haven't decided what to carry yet today, kinda gettin a slow start I guess. Hey Murph, I'm no expert on these. I would assume so. At least every one I've ever seen is. Yes Edge, a very low profile indeed.

Nice knife Edge, that stag must feel great in the hand. ::tu::

I've been packing a couple today, but, this yellow rose is getting the brunt of the action today.

I love the blade configuration on this knife.

This 73L is a great backup in the deer woods so I've been givin' it some pocket time.

Johnny T, that yellow rose is sweet! And the photo does an excellent job of bringing out her "eyes" ... nicely done.

And yeah, I guess a #73 Stag would make a pretty good "backup" ...

Very nice knives. ::tu::

Well, I pulled the trigger on this one 2X, one for each of my girls. The Schrades seem to be pretty good knives but I desided they should have spring assist opening.

Thanks a lot Gino. I'm wondering what makes a Ken Onion a Ken Onion? If you look at the knives I bought, on the tail end of the handle it say "SpeedSafe" and on the tail end of "46's it says "Ken Onion". The knives I bought are advertised as "Onions" on the web site and is the same model number, just different suffix. Are the ones I bought Ken Onion? Not much into these kinds of knives and don't really know them.

No Murph, the ones you bought are the same knife even tho there's not much difference in the 2 knives, mine and yours that is. The knife I have is also a Leek, basic same design just happens to be a Ken Onion designed and branded piece, where yours is not branded as the same, I'm sure it is. I know that a K.O. Leek Rainbow can go from retail of $54.00 to $80.00 depending on where you buy it. The others without his name on them probably go for less. Just my thoughts but still the same speedsafe, assisted open pieces I'm sure.

Ken has been working with Kershaw since 1998 I believe. He designs and holds many patents (somewhere around 35) of different locks and safetys involved in knife making. He basically put Kershaw on the map! They have won many knife design awards over the last several years due to his imput. It has been a huge success for both he and the Kershaw brand. He designed the Titanium used in my knife blade, on my Leek Murph. But probably didn't design the material used in your blades of your knives, hence the lack of a signature on your knives. My guess anyway, hope this helps. The process he designed on mine is called Oxidized Titanium, it's supposed to be scratch resistant. So far so good, after 2 years. But your knife design is identical to mine minus the chemical finish of it. But to answer your question of are they Onions, I would say yes in the basic design of shape and mechanical makeup, his design of lock, safety and motion of the blade. Whew,,,,I'm tired now. ::tired:: :lol:
