Clement Company - Robeson Cutlery

I have a set of stainless steel steak knives with deer antler handles that was passed down from my grandfather, a rancher in west Texas. The name "Clement Company" from Massachusettes is stamped on the blade. However the felt wrap they are in is marked with the Robeson Cutlery from Perry, New York. Can anyone tell me if these two companies are connected and is there any way of determining how old they are? I think that they are at least 60 years old. I was always under the impression my grandfather had these made from antlers of deer from his ranch, however I am not sure. They are in pristeen condition and as far as I know have only been used a couple of times.
Any info is appreciated.

I don't know a whole lot about Robeson steak knives. I'm a pocket cutlery collector.

Robeson certainly marketed steak knives with handles like these. I see them on Ebay all the time.
The majority of them, however, were German imports and usually marked, "Robeson Continental" or something similar.

Whether Robeson made these for Clement or had them made in Germany, I cannot say.

Whether the knives were originally in that Robeson ShurEdge flannel pouch, I cannot say. The whole thing might be just a marriage.

I sincerely doubt the antler tips came from your ancestor's property. I've seen too many of these over the years.

These sets, whether marked Robeson or some other maker, generally sell on Ebay, in original containers and in mint condition, for anywhere from 15 to 35 dollars.

Whenever we need a new kitchen knife, I just start looking for Robesons on Ebay. I generally find what I need in a week or two, and it never costs much money.
