Why China?

I noticed remington,Schrade and now Buck is selling knives made in China. What is next Case? I sure hope not. What do you guys think?

Meigscl ; Thats one good topic.

Please check out some old post on this and you will soon know the felling of China knives.

This comes up in many post. I for one think as a collector It's best to know what you are buying any WHY. If it's to add to your collection then don't buy any thing from CHINA no matter what the brand name is.

Its all about makeing a BUCK. ::blah::

Its sad ain't it? I too hope Case doesn't go that route. Time will tell I guess.

I forgot to add that i saw a post on another forum in which the president of W.R. Case and Sons said that they have been making things in Bradford, PA for over 100 years and they plan on doing that for many years to come.
