So I got out my knife roll and tested all the blades against paper.
Except for my SOG Twitch II and XL (stainless) the best paper cutters were all carbon steel.
The BEST of the best is my Case 3X Amber Bone Canoe. It goes through paper like a laser!
Can't beat Carbon steel for sharp!

Re: I was bored yesterday....
That is not ENTIRELY true....
The Case Sodbuster I have is Stainless but takes a pretty good paper slicing edge.
And the SOG knives I mentioned are QUITE good.
But CV and Carbon still make the best SLIP JOINT blades.

I only carry Carbon! The majority of my sharp sharp knives are all carbon steel.
