Thanks Gino. That SAK is my first one and I'm surprised how much I like it. It's a really nice knife at a good price. Nice to look at and nice in the pocket too. I think the Alox comes in colors too but I couldn't find them.

Received these in the mail today.

Victorinox alox with unusual black blades.
Cool old Geo. Schrade, this is my 1st of this style. Interesting how the handle acts as the backspring.
My newest Tenney, I like the grind on the back of the blades.

Mike, I have a couple of extra colored alox SAKs if you are int. shoot me a PM.

My mail lady just dropped off this Kershaw Onion-Centofante Speed-Safe. Kershaw confirms this model is discontinued. The little squirt is a bit smaller than I expected but I like it, even though I'm not very crazy about tacticals or liner locks so I think I'll keep it. Must be the red handles. ::nod::

Thanks, JR.

jerryd, that is an awesome little knife! I am a big fan of Wharncliffe blades and I am also a fan of Mr. Centofante's work, and while I feel I have grown to appreciate a more genteel form of cutlery, my Spyderco Cento 4 remains one of my favorite EDCs - it is, as one aficionado called it, "a light sabre".

That little red Kershaw is really a beaut - kinda like a sports car …. with teeth … ! :)

Gotta tell ya, I liked that little sports car so much I just went out and snagged one!

If nuthin' else it's an Onion/Cento collaboration that is disco'd …

(well, that was my rationale, anyway! ….) ::smirk::
