Murf, I get my Renaissance Wax from DLT Trading Co.
Their new website doesn't have it on there currently but
I checked w/Mary and they do still have some on hand.

Best bet is use their toll free 877-622-2397 and Ms. Mary can fix you right up.
200 ml jar is $25 +s&h $2.95. Smaller jar is $15 but 200 ml is best buy.
Another hint is use it very sparingly. And by that I mean very very sparingly.
A little goes along way and if you don't waste it the 200 ml will last you a looong time.
So the $25 isn't as bad as it first sounds.
If you find the US importer online it is a few dollars cheaper I think, but DLT's superlative customer service is a bonus I don't mind spending a few bucks on.

I think of renwax as more of a protectant than a wax.
Does remove glue and/or oil easily but for any kind of tarnish I prefer nonabrasive Mother's mag & aluminum polish (product code 05100).
If more HD detailing is needed then I go to the metal-glo type paste.
I always start with the gentlest and only go to next step if needed.

And by very very sparingly w/Renwax, I mean barely touch the wax surface with cloth, wipe excess off on the rim and you will still have enough on cloth to do four bolsters or two blades unless grime turns cloth black before you get that far.

My collection has a range from 40 dollar Case knives to Tony Bose originals. Been using Ren-Wax for years.........................

No______________ -------about the same as the ""Mothers"" that you can get from most auto parts or wally world

I apply all my cleaners--polish--wax ect. with my bare fingers,and rub______""hence me getting cut all the time"" then I wipe and polish with the soft cloths_____I've never used a ""Buffer"" so the older age spots remain

TJ....i have the smaller can....i use it on all my knives ....my antique stuff...double edge razors...and even the nickel and chrome parts on my guitars...really good stuff....ALLEN

Does it dry hard and not smear if you run your fingers over it? Might want to try it on one of my guitars.

TJ .. Just finished RENWAXN' my Dad's '66 Gretch Country Gentleman. It brought the finish back really well. This guitar hadn't been out of the case more than a couple times since he died in '91'. I'm going to use it on his D-41 and the mandolines next.
