Re: kutmaster
Which M1 bayonet? I've got a spare set of the plastic ones for the M5 (I think).
Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)

neat old knife...much abused, i thought it was a used bayonete, and poo, until i noticed it is not milled for mounting on a rifle.

Ah, no--the grips I have won't fit that one. The spares I have are for this one: http://www.arms2armor.com/Bayonets/uskm5a1.htm

Re: kutmaster
thank you for the attempt.
i suspect i should just sit down and trace out some scales...nibbling at elk horn does not appeal to me just now though...what a stink.
