case brothers?
Would be interested in comments on this knife. I haven't seen this particular stamp but I am no expert on older case knives by any means.
Thanks in advance.

Re: case brothers?
Is it just me ? Or do the tang stamps look TOO GOOD for the age of the knife. While I have limited knowledge on this era of Case knives the tang stamp looks like it belongs on a new knife ????

Re: case brothers?
I have a Case brothers with the same stamp layout on the blade. I believe the layout is correct. What looks unusual, Not saying it didn't come this way, is the stamping appears excessively deep and rounded, may be something that happened. I do not own more than the one I have so let it be known this is opinion.

Re: case brothers?
Unless the seller gives a better close-up of the tang stamp, I'd say it looks to me like it's been cold stamped.

Look at the "Tested XX" stamp. That stamp doesn't really look rounded to me.
I lean authentic.
